How to modify the page layout of a Sitepage created via Visual Studio?

Question

I need to set the page layout of my custom sitepage to my own custom page layout. How to modify the page layout of a Sitepage created via Visual Studio ?

When creating a page you can specify the Page Layout, we use this function to create new Pages with specified Page Layout:
