I am a criminal defense lawyer. I first started using computers in my legal practice starting with MultiMate and MultiPlan. I was the ABA's Legal Economics MultiMate Users' Group chair and lectured on automation for the ABA and the National Association of District Attorneys.

I currently have an Intermediate Guide to Microsoft Word site, adapted from the 2000 Word document Legal Users Guide to Microsoft Word and a Microsoft Word FAQ. My page on Templates was posted on the Microsoft site as documentation (it has expanded since then and a link is shown). I am an intermediate vba programmer. I first learned programming Fortran.

I am a volunteer moderator on the Microsoft Community Answers site.

Hobbies: Argentine Tango, Sailing, and Gardening (doing things in sites like this also qualifies as a hobby, I guess)
