The Asset Library is supported by SharePoint 2013 Foundation. I'm presuming you have sufficient permission to add an app, but that you don't see the Asset Library App?! Unfortunately, the Video and Rich Media feature is not part of Sharepoint 2013 Foundation, so you need to use Server version to add videos and rich content.

There are tons of jQuery plugins you can get working with SharePoint to do a slideshow type effect for the videos. I would recommend not storing your videos on SharePoint. There are too large and will take up too much space in you libraries. Put you videos on Youtube or somewhere outside and reference them. There is nothing OOTB that will work for what ...

If you user "Embed" option for inserting media files, SharePoint does not allow to control "Atuotplay" properties. Instead, you can use other alternatives like upload from Computer or SharePoint. Create your dialog window parameters as below: var options = { url:'', // ur video player page url with querystring parmeter as the data u want to get it in payer page. title:'Title, Description, and Icon', width:640, height:400 } Now read the querystring value in the player page and use it the way you want.
