Per my research, embed a calendar view in the "send email" action is not supported. As Fritz said, Connecting to outlook and reviewing the calendar in outlook app is an easy way.

@Enigma: Ask yourself this question: Why not have your users use the ‘Connect to Outlook’ option to subscribe to the calendars? [ Why not send a simple link to the users after talking to your networking resource? Either using the ‘Connect to Outlook’ option or sending a link via email will require the same thing: networking staff will either need to punch a ...

For SharePoint Server 2010, use SharePoint Workspace 2010 which supports offline sync with documents. Product Guide here. For SharePoint Server 2013, use the previous OneDrive for Business sync app (Groove.exe) to sync files on local drive.

I would recommend looking in to OneDrive for Business, specifically the old Groove.exe version which is used with SharePoint 2013 to sync libraries with user machines so that files can be accessed offline. Unfortunately, it doesn't support SharePoint 2010. More information can be found here: Sync SharePoint files with the OneDrive sync client (Groove.exe)

I ended finding this thread answered by a MS tech: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/Lync/en-US/6dfdbc41-48c3-48e6-a6d3-2a171fd49d27/problems-with-drive-c-running-out-of-space-after-moving-sharepoint-search-index-to-d-drive Basically it's possible by changing some registry settings but not supported. The index location from drive C in my case was ...

This is happening because it is creating shallow copy of state. I will suggest you to use lodash library to make the deep copy of your state easily. Add import statement in your code file like: import * as _ from "lodash"; You can use: let localState = _.cloneDeep(this.state); let tempEvents = localState.events[i]["start"]; Note: If ...

Yes, if you are using classic experience for the document library. We can decide which columns to display on separate list views: Go to the list view you want to show on the parent directory (or the default list view), navigate to Edit View > Folders > Show this view: In the top-level folder. This might be a DNS related issue. Could you please check if nslookup portal.company.com gives you the desired IP-Address of your server? My following answers will rely on that.

This is one of the many reasons why i do not like FBA: It's cheap, it's easy but has tons of drawbacks. Implement WebApplicationProxy or even better AzureAD Application Proxy with Kerberos Authentication instead of FBA. It will save most or all of your FBA pains.

If you configure a new DefaultIndex Location, SharePoint will perform a process called Index Merge. This is poorly documented, but it will require up to 30% of the existing Index-Space on the source drive. If the merge completed, you should also get rid of the old locations automatically. If you do not have or cannot provide enough space on C for index merge,...

If the custom global navigation you are looking to build is built using server side code (farm solution), then the answer is no. You cannot deploy server side solutions to SharePoint Online. You can however create SPFx extensions to create your own custom navigation. I would however recommend using the out-of-the-box hub and site navigation features for ...

I figured out a way around using Sharepoint Management Shell commands like this (I'm using Windows PowerShell ISE): #Get Web Object $web = Get-SPWeb "site url here" #Get Content Type $ContentType = $web.ContentTypes["content type name"] #Get The Field $FieldToAdd=$web.Fields["site column name"] #Add Field to Content type $...

I've tested below, and it worked for me. Add-PnPFieldToContentType uses Internal column/field name as described here. You might try changing SPSWorkFlowName to internal name SPSNumber and try again. "yoururl", "your display" can be pasted from Excel. The double quotes must exist in pasted text and there must be a space after the comma. You can accomplish this with an Excel formula, just typing in the literal string, or if the display text is part of the URL, by custom cell format. I used the latter, as the URLs for me are all the ...

Maybe you can update the DefaultIndexLocation first and then update the topology as you're doing $server = "ServerName" $IndexLocation= "S:\SearchData" $server | % { $svcInst = (Get-SPServer -Identity $_).serviceinstances | ? { $_.GetType().FullName -eq "Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance" ...

I don't think this could be achieved in client side. We have to use servr side code to set the quota template.

In order to update the item from list 'b', you need to know the item ID of the item in list 'b'. But - that is not necessarily going to match the item ID of the matching item from list 'a'. In the comments, what you have said is that the value of the Title field in list 'b' is what is going to match the value of the Name field from the items in list 'a'. ...

I could reproduce your issue when install the ServiceBus and WorkflowManagerRefresh offline in this article: We suggest you open a ticket from Microsoft to check if the file link has been changed and caused it could not be found while downloaded.

To update SharePoint list item, you need to pass the item ID to REST endpoint like: _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl + "/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('c')/items(1)" Where 1 is ID of SharePoint list item. I've seen very bad things happening when special characters are involved in a column name. Using < and % in a column name is a really bad idea. But that's not the cause of your issue. You never mention the data type of the column [LVR<70%] but since you test against "YES" and "NO" I assume it's a Yes/No field. While SharePoint ...

Are you accessing these sites from the server itself? If so, you’re running into loopback protection. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/accessing-server-locally-with-fqdn-cname-alias-denied for details. Although it’s talking about Windows Server 2003, it still applies to more recent server versions.

As the RFC for mail only allows a single value for From. SharePoint takes this value and performs a comparison against the site's User Information List. If it finds a matching user and that user has permission, it accepts the email. Since there can only be a single value for both From per the RFC and in the UIL for a user, it isn't possible to accept email ...

I think some of your confusion might be coming from the fact that the variables in the code example you pulled are named in a fairly confusing way. What if we renamed some of those and changed that done callback like this: call.done(function (data, textStatus, jqXHR) { var permissionsUserHasOnWeb = data.d.EffectiveBasePermissions; var ...

The method is consuming the effective permissions for the current user (otherwise you would have an empty base permissions object). You can then use the base permissions object (manageListsPerms) to determine if the user has the manage lists permission level (where you are using the has method). The has method returns a boolean, which you are using at the ...

You can remove the servers (except WFE) from the farm by running the Configuration Wizard/using PowerShell/using Central Administration, and then uninstall SharePoint product from each server. Or you can just remove the servers by uninstall SharePoint directly using Control Panel. However, uninstalling SharePoint product does not really “clean” the farm/...

1

If you run the config wizard on the WFE that is hosting Central Admin, you will have to option to remove Central Admin from the server in the wizard. Then all you need to do is run the wizard on the APP server and have it host the central admin site. On a side note I would not recommend using SP2016 for a new farm, I'd strongly recommend SP2019. SP2016 ...
