I am working with SharePoint 2010 server. I have deployed a sandboxed solution to the sharepoint server. But while adding the webpart to page it shows the following error:

The sandboxed code execution request was refused because the Sandboxed Code Host Service was too busy to handle the request.

I have found the below article and followed all the work-arounds but the error is still persisting.

Can anyone tell me what am I missing or what I have to do in order to get the ID of this exception?

We've had to do this, too:

$uc = [Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPUserCodeService]::Local
$uc.WorkerProcessExecutionTimeout = 5000
$uc.Update()

$tier = $uc.Tiers[""]   # default Tier has no Name
$tier.MaximumWorkerProcesses = 2    # number of CPU Cores + 1
$tier.Update()

  • Bypassing the reason you use sandbox isn't good practice. Instead correct configuration of quotas should be handled and planned. This is poor governance.

  • @HughWood your solution didn't work for me. This one did.

You need to check the quota for the site collection, this is what will be limiting you.

You can use the MSDN post here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg615462.aspx to calculate what the quota should be set to.
