My workplace uses One Drive, which I usually access through the SharePoint web interface. I can of course open files in Microsoft formats, such as .pptx and .docx through the web interface. Microsoft's File types supported for previewing files in OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams lists hundreds of supported file extensions, the majority of which are treated as text, such as .txt and .java. There are file extensions for many programming languages but not for Kotlin (.kt). Is there a way to specify that files with additional extensions should also be treated as text files?

I understand that a workaround is accessing the files through the file system rather than web interface.
