I am struggling to find a way, using powershell, to find/export all site collection a group of users have access to.

What I have is a *.csv file with roughly 30 users listed. I need to loop through each user and return all site collections that user has access to/is a part of, then export this data to another *.csv file.

Seems simple enough, but I cannot seem to find any solution that fits my need.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • Are they group connected sites? e.g. modern Teams sites connected to a Microsoft 365 group or are the permissions to the site managed using AD groups?
