I need to develop a popup which will take text from SharePoint list item, kindly support.

I have tried modal popup window on page load, but our management needs to fetch the text from SharePoint List.

  • I have developed the Visual Webpart and placed the webpart in a page, it works fine and fetches data from sharepoint list, but when i called the page in a popup is shows error as " Sorry, something went wrong An unexpected error has occurred."
