I need to Create a calculated column called “region” using an if then statement as the algorithm to search for an entered cell out of the 5 regions, if it finds it, insert it in the new calculated column if not then continue to search the next four columns/ regions, until it finds an answer and then insert sit in the new calculated column.
I have one column that is called “pertinent territory” and 4 columns that are regions “what region in cape Breton”,” what region in the west”, “what region in metro” and "what region in north”, I need the statement to search through the four regions until it finds an answer to one of the 4 columns then insert that in the new calculated column called region. Can anyone please help?
I will then hide the 4 columns that are asking what region in "location" to just territory and region, to clean up the list.
