I am wondering if it is possible to get value of modified column (datetime) if user try to edit item in SharePoint 2013 (maybe with javascript ajax call ?!)
I am trying to get value from specific item column if user try to edit it and store it to variable.
Any sugestions help !
if user try to edit it... Is it from SharePoint edit form? You can get the old Modified date value from SharePoint list on page load through REST call.... And, current modified date will always be same as the current DateTime value that you can get using javascript (like -new Date())
