I'm trying to find a way to write a CAML query that checks if a file with empty base name exists.

For example:

.gif
.png
.jpeg

Where the part before the extension is an empty string.

You can see below CAML that I have now, However when I try to run it with ".gif", although the file is there, nothing is returned.

<View>
    <Query>
        <Where>
            <Eq>
                <FieldRef Name='FileLeafRef'/>
                <Value Type='Text'>@</Value>
            </Eq>
        </Where>
    </Query>
</View>
