I have a list that has multiple different content types that define certain columns and a document library that I want to have a relationship back to the list item it's associated with. Some list items require multiple documents to be associated as well.
I did try and use this from Hillbilly http://www.sharepointhillbilly.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=40 however it only worked once and then stopped and the dropdown didn't actually find the associated list.
I would like something like the above solution to work or a more efficient solution that involves once the form for the list item is created, I can open the view form to add associating documents and see ones that as associated with the list item.
Since the drop down auto associate function in this code doesn't work, is it possible to have two drop downs? one drop down to select the associated list items content type and then a another that would have the associated list items?
