Is there currently a way in Office 365 to hide Office 365 (aka Unified) Groups in the different apps that can be connected to them?

For example, in Stream > Discover > Groups, Teams > Create Team, or when selecting the Group for a new Plan in Planner, I would ideally want to make certain Groups (which we are planning on using as security principals in SharePoint as a compromise between SharePoint and Azure AD groups) invisible to this option.

There is already functionality for this via the Set-UnifiedGroup command in Exchange with the HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled property, but there doesn't seem to be any similar properties for other apps.

This post on UserVoice relating to Stream specifically would suggest it is still on Microsoft's to-do list but hoping someone has a clever hack or workaround for this functionality.
