When I inspect a text element on a site page I see that headings in the text map to different HTML headings.

  • When I apply a Heading 1, I see an H2 in the code.
  • When I apply a Heading 2, I see an H3 in the code.
  • When I apply a Heading 3, I see an H4 in the code.

Shouldn't Microsoft label the headings in the editor to reflect what's in the HTML? I was wondering if anyone knows the rationale for this.

Thanks
