I am attempting to create Sharepoint page with can access multiple Provider-hosted Add-ins.

I followed a couple of tutorials online and was able you get a default Provider-hosted application to load on my local server VM. I used this link as a guide.

So far I have achieved the following:

  1. Created a Web Application in SharePoint.
  2. Created a High-trust Certificate.
  3. Generated a Issuer ID.
  4. Used the Issuer ID and certificate to create a MVC based SharePoint Add-In (using Visual Studio).
  5. Generated an appID and registered the App called "PHapp"

My app loaded with the link http://<<server>>/PHappWeb/?SPHostUrl=http://<<server>>/sites/<<sitename>>...

However I am getting this error:

Server Error in '/PHappWeb' Application.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.EntryPointNotFoundException: The following errors occurred while attempting to load the app.

For the app startup parameter value 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Owin.Hosting.Startup, Microsoft.SharePoint.Owin.Hosting, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c', the assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Owin.Hosting, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' was not found.

To disable OWIN startup discovery, add the appSetting owin:AutomaticAppStartup with a value of "false" in your web.config.

To specify the OWIN startup Assembly, Class, or Method, add the appSetting owin:AppStartup with the fully qualified startup class or configuration method name in your web.config.

If I disable it, will it cause problems later?
