I have a document I have generated and uploaded to Sharepoint. I have shared this document to all relevant parties.
Only I will be allowed to make changes to the file, so the file is not shared for editing purposes. I do however want other parties to be able to comment the file.
How do I enable commenting the file without editing the file for other parties?
I have seen a few posts asking this in 2014, and nothing since. Has this still not been enabled? It seems ridiculous to have a comment area of the form, inextricably linked to the edit capability. It means, anyone you trust to speak about the file, you must trust with the ability to edit it, without error.
