In PowerShell i have a folder with Unique Assignments, and sub folders (3 or 4) one of which has also got unique Assignments. I have a user "A" that has contribute to the top level folder and ALL of the sub folders including the one with unique assignments. I now want to remove user "A" from the top level folder and expect he will be removed from it and the three sub folders BUT remain in the one with broken permissions. He does not! he is removed from ALL folders. How do i stop this unwanted behaviour? PS its Sp2013 and any help will be much appreciated. I hoped the re was an override of .remove(spPrinciple, $false) but there isn't as far as i can see

thanks Tim
