I'm sending out excel files to be signed and need to prevent users from opening other user excel . I can't set permission at folder/file level. The easiest workaround I can think off manually adding password to each excel file.
I can send an email to the user using a SP designer workflow that have the link to the document and using the user email as the lookup. Is there a way make sure that only the user I sent an email to, using the email active directory lookup field in SP, can open and edit the file in the link sent to them? or any other way to limit permissions?
