I am working on sharepoint online site. and i added a new modern page which represents our finance department. where users can access the department's News, Events, Documents, etc.. now i want inside the modern page to add a feedback form, which allow users to specify their names (not necessary a real People or Group field) and their feedback, something as follow:-
and after submitting the form to show a message for the users, something as "your feedback was submitted" without forcing any redirection inside the modern page.
Now to achieve this i am planning to do these steps, but not sure if i am at the correct path:-
- I will create a custom list. then i will add the Name & Feedback fields to it. (i think this step is required).
- Create a PowerApps cusotm form, and embed this PowerApps form inside our modern page using the Microsoft PowerApps modern web part.
now i am not sure if PowerApps can be used to implement our requirement? now my main issues are:-
Can we force the PowerApps form to show a message for the users once submitted? and to prevent any redirection?.
also usually i use PowerApps to create a full app for a list, but i am not sure if i can create a form similar to the one i showed in my above image, where this form should not show any additional components (such as the built-in search field, additional links and button), and it should only show 2 HTML fields + submit button. so this is possible using PowerApps??
