I've created a SharePoint Workflow that replace about 30 quick parts in a Word document.

This is working fine when all fields are filled. In this case all quick parts are replaced.

But if there are some empty fields, quick parts remain visible in the Word document.

I've tried this solution https://teylyn.com/articles/hide-empty-sharepoint-metadata-columns-in-word-2010/ . It is working fine when the field is empty, but when the field is filled user should select text where quick parts is and press F9 button to show the value. This is not a good solution to me.

I've though to add via jQuery an "hidden" value/character to empty field in the SharePoint new form page. I think white spaces are trimmed, so it couldn't be a solution. This could be a good way? Are there any special characters I should use?
