I have a SharePoint list with links that I needed to query on another site. I used the following instructions http://doitwithsharepoint.blogspot.com/2011/04/url-fields-in-sharepoint-content-query.html to create a custom XSL style sheet and CQWP so that only the title of the URL shows and not the actual URL itself. Its working perfectly HOWEVER...the list that I am querying has an Item Preview field that creates a callout when on mouseover http://spjsblog.com/2013/12/03/list-view-preview-item-on-hover/. It works great as well on the main list but I am just not sure how to get both working on they custom CQWP. The XSL that I am using for it is below, I have no real knowledge of XSL but I'm fairly certain its a matter of calling that field into the style sheet as well but nothing I have tried is working. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" exclude-result-prefixes="x d xsl msxsl cmswrt" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/dsp" xmlns:cmswrt="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WebParts/v3/Publishing/runtime" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt"> <xsl:template name="Default" match="*" mode="itemstyle"> <div class="item link-item"> <div class="link-item"> <a href="{substring-before(@URL,',')}" title="{@LinkToolTip}"> <xsl:value-of select="substring-after(@Title,',')" /> </a> </div> </div> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet>
