I have problems in my developpement environment for Sharepoint Foundation Server 2013. My topology : 1 server with AD, SP, SQL and dev tools (windows server 2012 R2); 1 server with OfficeWebApps 2013 (windows server 2012 R2)

It's impossible to open/edit documents in sharepoint with Office web apps (with classic user). But, of course, i can download the file. When i load a file, i can see message : Server Error. We're sorry. An error has occurred. We've logged the error for the server administrator.

It's the same error message with Word, Excel, powerpoint or Onenote file. In addition, the use of CPU is 100% ! Used by System processus and Windows Problem Reporting.

In events viewer (of OWA server), there are two errors which apppear each minutes :

I tried a lot of things like remove (with Remove-OfficeWebAppsMachine) and recreate OWA, install KB, update .NET, ...

I specify, the xml data in http://machine-owa/hosting/discovery is accessible from 2 servers.

Anyone knows about this problem?

  • Is there anything else installed on the OWA-Machine (like Office, SharePoint Designer, ...)? – MHeld Aug 30 '17 at 11:27
  • Nothing else installed. Only Office Web Apps 2013, Chrome and Notepad++ ... – SiLDLV Aug 30 '17 at 11:58
