I want to install SharePoint 2013 FBA Pack for user password management. When I followed the instruction to prepare my system, I can not create a aspnet.db. I got the following error message:

Setup failed.
Exception:

  • As the error suggests, it can't connect to your SQL Server Instance. Make sure you have opened Named Pipes and TCP/IP Protocols for SQL Server. – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 30 '14 at 7:51
  • I opened SQL server Configuration Manager and checked "Protocols for SHAREPOINT" under "SQL Server Configuration" option. Named pipes was disable, so I enabled it but I got same error when creating aspnet.db. – GoGo Oct 30 '14 at 8:45
  • Try restarting SQL Server service – Arsalan Adam Khatri Oct 30 '14 at 9:13
  • I did it, but it didn't work. – GoGo Oct 30 '14 at 10:03
