Feb 23, 2018 at 22:45 comment added Nicholas DiPiazza I just went ahead and used fiddler to reconstruct the http client calls.
Feb 23, 2018 at 18:16 comment added Nicholas DiPiazza I tried this... it worked on my Sharepoint Online instance that uses microsoft native login. But for my instance with ADFS synced Federation... it does NOT work. Returns NULL cookie every time. @sssreddy any ideas?

Jan 20, 2018 at 7:19 comment added Nicholas DiPiazza I am using REST API requests, therefore platform independent. Bypassing the fedauth/rtfa cookies won't work for me because i explicitly need them.
Jan 19, 2018 at 19:05 comment added sssreddy Can you please provide a brief detail on what platform and language used in your application. The above example uses SharePoint Online .net CSOM Sdk and runs on windows. When using this sdk you don't need to explicitly get the FedAuth and rtfa cookie, it is handled internally in the sdk.
Jan 19, 2018 at 18:40 comment added Nicholas DiPiazza Thanks sssreddy. I don't understand... where in that snippet do you specify the sharepoint endpoint? And unfortunately, I need to get the rtfa/fedauth cookies because i'm making REST and Soap api calls using an existing application that is already written. is it possible to use CSOM to get these cookies? Do you know if this will work on Mono/Linux? Or will I need to use windows?
