Stop the Timer service. To do this, follow these steps:

-Services -Right-click SharePoint 2010 Timer, and then click Stop. -Close the Services console. -In Windows Explorer, locate following folder: %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\SharePoint\Config\GUID -find cache.in open in editor type 1 save and close the file. -services -start SharePoint 2010 Timer service

-Done!!

  • Open Services
