Stack Exchange network consists of 176 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
On Stack Exchange, we believe the core moderators should come from the community, and be elected by the community itself through popular vote. We hold regular elections to determine who these community moderators will be.
StackExchange has helped me grow technically and also at so many times saved me.
I feel a sense of responsibility & gratitude towards the community which I'll like to embrace more and give more to this beloved family of mine.
I spend everyday at least an hour on the site and would be humbled if I get to be a moderator. I'll give my best to expand and make the community better.
I am SharePoint Developer, have experience in SharePoint infrastructure, administration, powershell and troubleshooting on SharePoint 2013 On Premise and Online.

I want to keep SharePoint StackExchange a CLEAR and STRUCTURED place to find an answer you are looking for. These are not just forums, it's a knowledgebase and without clarity and the right structure, it can become ignored and lose it's reputation.
I'm M.Qassas, I joined this community a year ago. I know very well that helping people is a great job that we should all try.I hope to convey my humble experience as well as to learn from experts on this site.
I have nominated myself because I am in this community most of the time and I feel that I can do something that might help to keep up this great community.
I am a SharePoint Administrator having experience of Farm setup (MOOS 2007, SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, OWA, Project Server and OOS). I worked on Migration from Lotus note to sharepoint also from sharepoint 2007 to 2010, 2010 to 2013, 2013 to 2016. I worked on configuration of ADFS,IRMS, OWA to sharepoint, office 365, network Load balancing. Also having knowledge of DR and BCP plan.
I also involved on Creation of a Content DB and maintaining it. involves maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server. Compressing of logging Databases is also done by SharePoint admins since they grow in size considerably.
I Think all my experience will help many sharepoint user or new comer or experienced administrator to drill down issue and resolve.
I would like to nominate myself as a moderator for the SharePoint StackExchange community as I visit here almost daily.
I love to answer the questions asked here, suggest people to look for the answers or ask a new question here and make sure they get the correct answers. This drives more traffic to this community.
I have also networked with many brilliant SharePoint experts here who have increased my knowledge over the years. And I'm still learning something new on this community everyday.

Most importantly I haven't contributed to the community for the sake of becoming a moderator, I joined the community to learn and share my experience with those in need. I don't know what powers are given to the moderators and keen to unlock those potentials.
In the election phase, up to 10 candidates advance to final community voting. Candidates are displayed in random order.
Any community member with 150 reputation may vote in the election. Each voter may select up to three candidates. Please make your selections in order of preference, with the most desirable candidate as first choice.
We will calculate the winners using OpaVote with the Meek STV method, which automatically weights users' votes in the way that does the most good for the candidates they have selected, in order of preference.
When the election is complete, the ballot file will be freely downloadable from this page for the life of the site. Individual users' voting choices are always private; only the aggregated tally will be made public.
