comment How to debug a workflow?
I have found a "workflow history" list - but everything shows as UNID's and not sure how to translate back to a List/Task/Item? Also, shows in there "Access Denied" a LOT of times?

No, I ended up writing a json webservice to return the data and then jQuery/ajax to call it and handle the row being clicked on. Basically, I avoided anything to do with SharePoint wherever possible as I found that every step I took forward was met with 10 backwards. I'm sure SP does have a place...but I have not found it yet and we are re-developing our workflow application to use standard .Net MVC.

Thanks - helps in that I know what it can't do! It's actually on the Admin side, rather than user side I was thinking. I work in the Middle East, and spellings and pronunciations and ways names are written often don't match...so being able to scroll through all users would have been very useful!
