SharePoint Timer Job Configuration It is not as straightforward as that. I have a custom configuration section which references a dll which add more security info to the WCH channel. Of course I can configure WCF endpoints via code but the bigger question is how I can asbtract the configuration so I can load the custom section from another location. According to [this post][1], the configuration model is pretty much locked down to the file-based approach.. was hoping someone knew of a way around this. [1]: stackoverflow.com/questions/1410189/… |

SharePoint Timer Job Configuration WCF configuration is not an issue. I am more concerned with how to configure a custom section as mentioned above. Any idea on how to do that programmatically? |

Switching to non-default Search Provider in OOB Search WebParts It seems counter productive to have to write your own webparts when the OOB one works with both SharePoint Search and FAST Search. If it is just a matter of pointing it to the non-default provider, I am hoping someone can ideally point out how you can override the default search provider to be able to set the Search provider to a non-default one. I have a thread open into this issue at: social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sharepointsearch/thread/… |
