That is the problem the solution 1 and 2, i tried even before but i still get errors :/ very strange if I add new web parts of the same type i just get more errors ... somehow the pre upgrade check tool doesn't see those web parts intalled on ther server.

Normal way of doing it, what i've read, is that you do pre upgrade check, fix everything, back up, then go install all assemblies on new sp 2010, and test-contentdb, ... in my case i did all that , but i get issues :/

I have a content db of sp 2007 with there those templates, and microsoft proposes a new version of the template, can I use it, or i still should use the one for 2007?

But what if it is a feature, and this feature deploys the template, and when i attach it says ok the template is not there, because the future is maybe not activated on this web app, because web app at this moment doesn't have any sites on it

I did use the feature admin and it finds it, BUT i cannot delete it, it gives me an error "An error occured iterating through the features"

so for the features i should execute that tool to clean it up, and for the web parts and other stuff, i just have to use that powershell? Is this before or after attaching/detaching content database?
