Invitation to external users The only limitation that might come up is that the number of external users allowed might shrink, depending on your current O365 plan. Until now it is identical. |

I have here the personal contact because of combination with Lync: no problem. In document library "E-mail a Link": no problem. In wild web page (no sharepoint): mailto: no problem. |

Permission levels on webs that do not inherit permissions The good reason for your setting is that if you assign permission to an SP group, you can add to this SP group AD group with intern users and SP user as extern users that have no AD account. So yeah, your pattern is best as recommended. My problem in general is that SP is not able to deny any permissions. |

Permission levels on webs that do not inherit permissions Is it an option to create a Active Directory Group, put this user inside there and give access to the AD group on your desired web? I wouldn't say this will work despite it doesn't work with SP groups, it is just more "recommended" way of permitting. |

Single form for multiple lists Just as a hint: Afaik a SPD 2010 Workflow has the limitation that it only cycles through five elements of an list, after 5th it collapses. |

Editing ribbon bar problem Did you tried to give next level "Design"? Did it work? Do you have other cases where "Contribute" was enough to attach files? Did you do "Check Permissions"? I know, SP has a nonpermissive rights management, but it is not that easy to look through. |

How do I “give up” editing mode and view a document as read-only without closing and reopening? I could rebuild your circumstances as far as I see, but I had no problem that second user could not edit same document. My suggestions is to force users to check out explicitly. Because for reading only it is unnecessary and you get buttons for discard check out. If you have no power, I assume, you won't find a solution. |

And to your topic: I never got my daily workflow running. And you have 5 items per list only to be able to check with SPD. |

In SharePoint 2010 how do I blank a column on a document that is managed by a term set? I tried it with a word-file and let Windows7 take away all possible personal data: -> rightclick properties -> Details -> "Remove Properties and Personal Information" -> "Create a copy with all possible properties removed". How to you access to your content type? SP Designer? |
