User Profile Synchronisation from SQL Database Sorry, I did not explain myself well. I am not doing it directly from SQL. I am using BCS. The problem comes when I try to map my Manager field (which is a text field in the External Content Type) to the Manager Property in UPS. |

User Profile Synchronisation from SQL Database Sorry for the late response. I am trying to do it via BCS. I have created and External Content Type that is pulls the data from SQL and added to my synchronisation connections. I can map fields like First Name, Last Name, Email Address etc without a problem but having a problem with the Manager and Picture fields. It appeats you cannot map text fields to these two? |

How do I connect with SharePoint Online Web Services in order to access list and taxonomy data? I am gettin exactly the same error but on a SP 2010 Enterprise Server and we are not using Claims Authentication. Any ideas on how to resolve this? |

Sharepoint TaxonomyField Object Thank you for this. What I actually wanted to know is how to get an already exisiting taxonomy field from the title eg. something like var taxonomyField = web.Fields.GetField("TaxonomyFieldGroup", "TaxonomyFieldTitle") as TaxonomyField |

Store Custom Data with Content Types Content Types Thanks for the suggestion. How I am actually trying to implement it is by adding the preferred format to the XmlDocuments for the content type eg: ctype.XmlDocuments.Add(docIdFormat) and then also be able to read this value when the documentId is being assigned. |
