@ChandraShekhar I think you can edit the XSLT-file and handle these users as well. The problem is I haven't found any solution to fit your question. I've found a way to solve the issue with groups but not internal vs. external users. I believe though that one can start with these suggestions and fix the views in SharePoint Designer.

Are you trying to restrict external users from seeing internal documents, or do you just want to filter the documents - but there's really no harm if they see anything else? I'm trying to understand if this is a permission question or a filter question. It's two different things.

@amband That's good so far. Now you have reset the versioning on your server and should be able to run the SP1 update. When finished - run PSConfig successfully. Then install SP2 and PSConfig again, and this server should be at the status you want to.
