comment How to trim down date to example 2014-10-10?
getMonth() starts at 0, for the fun of it. Just do ` + (d.getMonth() + 1) + ...`. Note the parentheses here, they are important.

Have you tried moment.js ?

comment Combine REST query “GetItems” action with OData $filter parameter
@John-o I probably misunderstood a bit. Using only CAML is what I do today, I combine view query with my own custom query (see my answer below). I thought Vadim meant to not use view query but just make my own CAML from ground up. This is the most correct answer then :)

comment Combine REST query “GetItems” action with OData $filter parameter
Sorry but this doesn't answer my question. I know I can rewrite CAML to $filter, but I don't have any tool to magically convert ViewQuery to $filter. Note that, as I said, $top actually works, no need to "convert" that. I'm very tempted to upvote just because you say that query can be moved to POST data instead of querystring, which is very important, but it's more a comment than an answer IMHO.

Your code should work, but I'll just note this: No need to use new keyword when you call get_current()

comment SharePoint 2013 REST display Rich Text field not working?
The last div there should be fine, as long as you include ngSanitize and add it as a module. If it does not work check your console (web dev tools) for errors

It should work if you copy my example above. Note that Angular version can be important, make sure you have the latest

Don't do both ng-bind-html and {{customer.Content}}, only do the attribute

comment Combine REST query “GetItems” action with OData $filter parameter
I should definitely be mixing CAML and OData. My example code let you query a list based on a view, in my experience users often wants data from their views. Imagine the possibilities if you could mix the users list view with your own custom filtering

comment Do check out in a document with jquery
@JohnColtrane The example code above will not print any errors. Check your network log (e.g., Chrome dev tools and Network-tab, then check the response body). Or add .error(function(){console.log(arguments)})

comment CRUD Tasks using Javascript via REST OData
There is most likely a error message, which you can print to console or similar. If you use say Chrome you can view the response body in Network-tab (dev tools)

comment Add various Fields in a Sharepoint List Programmatically
@vandre I think it was meant as a helper method which would create the field on the lookup list if non-existing, I didn't include the method (with body) as I didn't find it important. Removed for now. Note that lookupListId can be null here, so a Debug.Assert(lookupListId != null, "lookupListId != null"); could be smart to use. Also, one can do switch on fieldType if necessary. (Since I removed EnsureLookupEntities I also removed SPWeb and LookupField, although field could be used to point to specific field)

comment What is the best place to store Autohosted-App settings and configurations?
I can vaguely remember some talk about "Configuration lists" before SharePoint 2013 beta was released, although I can't find anything about this now?

comment web services in Sharepoint
SharePoint 2013 already support what you ask for on different ways, such as WebDAV, REST and CSOM. Why would you make a service which replaces built in functionality?

comment powershell script works but not showing list data(scheduled task)
Did you try to run task with "Highest privileges", and set it to "run whether user is logged in or not", and did you add the SharePoint snapping, and did you add Start-Transcript to see what the actual error is?

comment Is it possible to make SharePoint lists accessible cross domain using REST API?
Well you could use that approach on any server (CORS/JSONP) to just get the token, then you should be able to auth with plain JavaScript and can use CORS/JSONP/Proxy directly against SharePoint. (Must enable CORS in IIS as you probably know, although I'm not sure how smart it is in regard of security). But I agree, I think Web API + CSOM + SharePointContextProvider is the most awesome approach, when you have a C# backend :P

@anbuj did you try using REST from C#? Here is an example of how you can authenticate: dotnet-rocks.com/2013/10/02/…

Hi @André, what is your specific approach? I.e., what do you have and what are you trying to do?
