comment Communication betwen sharepoint apps on different pages
If you want to have them on different pages my solution would not work, then you would have to do something like what @kesava mentions, although then you need to deploy a C#-project externally (a lot more to it than a simple SharePoint hosted app) - could also look at other options, e.g., what about opening and closing a firebase connection (hacky)

Ah I see. Well I suspect my solution should work as well, as I'm using it in production, but I can update the answer with your fix as well, I think it is a neat thing to know about

So the solution was to use my snippet, but remove __metadata? I'm sorry but I have a hard time believing that should work, unless, are you on-premise?

Just do this: itemEntry.__metadata = { type: 'SP.ListItem' }; And no you don't have to use ngresource

Yes that is fine for the field itself, I'm talking about itemEntry, or whatever you use as post body

Did you add { __metadata: { type: 'SP.ListItem' }} to itemEntry? You might have to send the actual type as well, you can get this from /_api/Lists('...')/ListItemEntityTypeFullName

Use your dev tools network-tab to look at the error message (or catch the error, or use fiddler).

That would be a new error. In your question the error message is specifically about Label, which makes sense. Do you try to set a property value in the same manner as you were trying to set Label? (Perhaps pastebin/gist your code, as I suspect it differs from that in your question)

comment Custom Jquery script to hide fields inside my New & Edit form is not working on Iphone safari web browser
Could it be that the markup is not the same, or the DOM is not created the same way (e.g., nobr is never created either way)? You need some way of remote console, perhaps like this. Then you could inspect the DOM and run queries

comment Update taxonomy field value with REST
Are you sure it's not just multi-fields which are not supported? It works fine with TaxonomyFieldType, just not with multi. If the field was a single field it would look something like: Project: { __metadata: { type: "SP.Taxonomy.TaxonomyFieldValue" }, TermGuid: "897bdf7f-08d6-44b9-a71a-ddc4cf131664", WssId: -1 } . I am not able to make it work for TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti.

comment Retrieve data from listdata.svc of an FBA site using jquery
Look for anything, any text at all. Sometimes different browsers can give better error messages as well. Feel free to post messages from the console here (perhaps through pastebin/gist).

comment JSOM: Limit calls to SP.ClientContext executeQueryAsync with promises (Angular example)
@MdMazzotti no I don't think it would directly, but with some change it should be possible. I'm a bit reluctant to say so, but perhaps with a setTimeout(function(){...});, or perhaps a trick with promises
