Hide Browse & Page tabs ribbon with SPSecurityStrippedControl Thanks for the suggestion. Changing it to "PermissionsString" did not work either, the tabs are still visible for all kinds of users. |

Hide Browse & Page tabs ribbon with SPSecurityStrippedControl It is a requirement that the Sign In control is still visible and therefore not possible to hide the entire ribbon. |

Unabe to create Search Service Application A good way to start is to look at your logging, which you maybe allready did. I use this tool to have a better overview of my logs. archive.msdn.microsoft.com/ULSViewer |

SharePoint Top Link Bar Tab Color & Site Pages Late answer but this has been put on hold for myself for a while. I will try this later and approve this answer if I see this trick did it for me. |

“Changed On/Modified” columns - Date Format & Regional Settings A late answer but indeed these settings did the trick, it changes the format of the dates in the lists. I sorted this out that it was an internal problem with a custom kind of list web part where the date comes through in another format then the regional settings. |

SharePoint Top Link Bar Tab Color & Site Pages So under the first tab you will find the home page. The other tabs refer to site pages. I navigated with the second tab to the page behind it and the tab does not turn blue. I know that it's possible to have this tab turn blue so it show that you are on that page under that tab. But I cannot figure it out how to do this. |

“Changed On/Modified” columns - Date Format & Regional Settings As I checked that, it does not changed the dates in the lists in my SP 2010 environment. |
