The CSOM ListItem object doesn't support Guid indexor. Must use the ["Created"] instead.

comment How to find invalid character in SharePoint item value
For special char, I use char.ConvertFromUtf32(160) where 160 is the base10 value of the char.

comment Open My Site in new window or tab
If you do so, you must wait till the Document is loaded. Event that, check in the source code of the page if your Javascript is still there. SharePoint "cleans" the Content of CEWP when saved. For example, CSS Background are not supported (erased). If you have jQuery, here is the code to wait for the Document to load : $(document).ready(function() { // Code goes here });

comment Open My Site in new window or tab
The javascript should work. Adding target="_blank" is the way to make links open in new tab/window. Can you revisit this solution ? Maybe edit manually the page with F12 and try adding the property yourself.
