comment How to get the listname in a custom display template for a content search webpart
thanks @ElioStruyf, long time! enjoying sun in Colombia!. Unfortunately in my new environment is not on premises, and showing the library name its very important. I know with JSOM I could get the list name by having the id, but I havent been succesful trying to integrate JSOM code into display templates. Maybe a good idea for one of your wonderful posts!!!

comment How to move a library from one site to another and keep the ModifedBy field
if you use the Import-SPWeb instead of the GaryLapointe cmdlet, it has a flag -IncludeUserSecurity, when you export it and when you import it, then it works fine.

thanks for your effort but I use the same display template across many different subsites, so I cant hardcode the sitename to be able to do a substring. Any other workaround?

then why on a sharepoint hosted app you have the option to add remote event receivers? that doesnt make sense. and why the book Sharepoint App Development(apress), on chapter 2 they explain how to do this.
