All timer jobs are missing from a Web Application Sounds like something drastic needs to happen, I think restoring may be the only option. Might be worth trying to add another application server to the mix to see if it sets up the timer jobs for the web app perhaps? |

Moving site template from wss to sharpoint foundation This is the way to do it without too much more effort, personally I had to do this for a bit of a manual migration I undertook but to be honest the caledars were a mess and certain things don't render properly - the answer is that stp files are not supported in 2010 so if they are just templates then they will need to be re-created from scratch in 2010. |

New Folder button not working on some libraries from SP 2007 migration possible that a non standard web template was used for the sites hosting the lists and libraries? You say a vendor migrated these so I assume this is a migration utility from metalogix or the like? |

No Double Hop on NTLM Probably depends on a few things, is the web application actually configured for Kerberos or NTLM as its authentication method? I would guess that the site is using NTLM and that there is a trust relationship between these domains and users in domain 2 are in fact accessing the site with NTLM as are the users in domain 1. |

Sending and receiving fax with sharepoint I still see the need for a fax server program like GFI faxmaker that probably emails the fax to a mail enabled document library, then set alerts on the document library |
