SSO in SharePoint nice post, agreed it really does depend on what your chosen authentication model is. Abraham - if you can please disclose what version of SharePoint has been implemented and what its chosen authenciation model is (Claims / Classic / Forms / Kerberos) then perhaps the community can give you a better idea. |

Creating a Site Collection - Get “Error in resolving user” Is the web application using claims based authentication? Considering its 2013 it will almost force you to use that model rather than the classic mode auth that was the default in 2010 |

User input issue with Locale change of Site SP 2010 ok so you've change the locale of both the servers regional settings as well as the site / site collection regional settings to be the same and have performed at least one iisreset on the WFE? |

User input issue with Locale change of Site SP 2010 might be worth checking the locale on the SQL server as well, I do recall a date issue whereby the SQL server has the wrong locale once |

“Run” or “Open” exe files from a sharepoint document library agreed - generally the browser will handle what to do with the object. |

Web Application not found you're right in practice you don't have to create a site collection, have you tested the database attach process with the test-spcontentdatabase cmdlet? technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff607941.aspx |

In-place upgrade from WSS 3.0 to SharePoint 2010 failed Please provide more information on the situation, it may be resumed or it may have terminally failed. Only way is to restore the server to how it was preupgrade. Hopefully you might have taken a snapshot of the web front end server and a full set of DB backups. If so then please revert to your snapshot and restore the databases. |

Ribbon grayed out partially if https context Proxy server is almost certainly the culprit here, the fact that you're using basic auth is also contributing to this problem I would wager. |

SharePoint is not working after setting up the Outlook Web Access Abubakar, have you investegated the ULS logs yet using the ULS log viewer I linked to above? If you've been able to complete the products and technologies wizard then it seems like SharePoint should be accessible, so its likely something in IIS is set wrong. The event logs aren't giving you the insight you need to solve it. |

How to Restore Same Site Backup in Same Content DB to create another site collection in the same web application? I think it will be an export/import, not a backup/restore that is required technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee428301.aspx since restoring from a backup will prevent it from being restored since it will refrence the same GUIDs for the site |

SharePoint is not working after setting up the Outlook Web Access looked at the other post, seems like an odd place to have the configuration wizard fail and fairly terminal at that. I'm assumign you're re-running the confiugration wizard as a local admin or the farm service account, it seems like the OWA installation has caused some changes perhaps to some of the framework files that SharePoint rely on. Personally if i was in your position I'd build a new SharePoint server, setup a new farm and then backup & restore the content database to that, unless you happen to have a snapshot or backup of the server prior the OWA install. |
