comment Using a calculated column from a lookup list
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I can't add Roster data to Members, because some members have more than one position in a given Roster. Titles belong to the member. Positions (think Roles) belong to a given Roster, and a member could have two or more Positions in the same Roster.

To get all Custom List Templates, skip line 3 & 4 and use $listTemplate = $site.GetCustomListTemplates($web)

The culprit was Chrome had zoom at 90%. Mike's answer led me to the solution.

comment SharePoint 2013 ribbon doesn't look right
OK, now I feel like an idiot. I had zoom at 90% in Chrome. Once I changed it back to 100%, it went back to normal. For some reason, two sites had zoom at something other than 100%, and another one was at 100%, so I thought it was site-specific, when it was browser tab-specific. Mike, you put me on the right road, please submit as an answer so I can give you +1 Internets for the day.

Regarding the edit: I am only familiar with the "Code" form of indenting, what type of indenting is this and how do I use it?

comment Least Level of Permissions for Web Part Page
Stupid question time: 1. Why do you have a Web Part Page with no Web Parts? 2. If you add a Web Part to the page, does the user get the error? 3. Have you tried adding a Basic Page to your Document Library and seeing what permissions the user needs?

I would say use jQuery to hide that radio button on the Checkin.aspx page, but that is the same page for all lists, and my usual tricks for opening in edit mode cause an error. So I think modifying the page is a dead-end, unless you want to try using SharePoint Designer. Is the option of training your users to not choose the third radio button not an option here?

comment CAML query for null lookup field values
This is an old post, but it was the first result from a Google search. It DOES work, Milena, and you accepted it as the answer. I think you should remove the comment saying it isn't working, it is confusing to those of us who come here two years later.

comment JavaScript is breaking my theme in SharePoint 2013
It's not permissions, they can see the theme on every OTHER page in the site. From what I can determine, it's something in the execution path between loading the theme and executing javascript. The script tag is stopping the theme from being loaded. But it's a bugger to troubleshoot.

Scripting is automatically removed from the Web Page. I HAVE to put it in a web part.

I have tried all the links you provided. The JavaScript DOES fire, but the theme is still not loaded.

I have done that, I moved the code to a Script Editor, and I still have the same problem.

I did that. Same result. Could you update your answer to give the correct way to call JavaScript (not jQuery) on page load?

comment JavaScript is breaking my theme in SharePoint 2013
I started with jQuery, I eliminated it to narrow down the problem. The problem is occurring with nothing more than an empty <script type="text/javascript"></script> tag.

I am not using jQuery at all, to eliminate that as a variable. If I just have a <script></script> tag, the page loads fine with the theme. If I have a <script type="text/javascript"></script> tag, the theme is omitted.

As for your last paragraph, the script DOES execute, it's just that the theme isn't getting loaded. I have more than my share of JavaScript errors, but the result is the JavaScript doesn't execute, and the rest of the page loads fine. That is not the behavior I am seeing.

I turned MDS back on, now I get theme on every page, but still have the problem on my script page.
