How to set authentication model to allow cross-domain access? Well, if you use different web applications, whether port- or AAM/hostname based, or host-named site collections (vanity URLs), you do have to go cross-domain. |

How to set authentication model to allow cross-domain access? This answer is really not on topic as there's an explicitly specified Cross-Domain nature of the question. |

How can I move an item in a library to another folder preserving meta-information? Ok, if your site had no such control in the Site Actions menu, that would mean your site had not the Publishing site feature enabled. It is not advisable to enable Publishing on a site only for the sake of using the Site Content and Structure. If your site collection has both basic team site and publishing sites under the same root, then out of one of the publishing sites you can manage the content of team sites using Site Content and Structure. |

List does not exist error while using GetListItems We had to do a delete/restore of the broken lists using a mix of Content Deployment Wizard to keep the GUIDs and web service based tools to restore the lists. |

List does not exist error while using GetListItems As it seems, the problem arose after DPM restore of the list. |

List does not exist error while using GetListItems We are having a similar issue. A list with about 1200 items shows only 31 first items in a datasheet view with no Item Limit or Filter configured. ListData.svc renders all items, while Lists.asmx consistently limits to 31 and would not let you query for ID > 31 giving the same error as above. |

best way to add people to sharepoint group You could find a workflow automation product that will do such things for you, but out of the box adding users to groups based on some business logic is not available. |
