comment Update MySite Thumbnail Photo in SharePoint 2016
The Photos are already in AD. Are you saying that I need Microsoft Identity Manager in order for SharePoint 2016's (on-Prem) UserProfile Sync to Import the "ThumbnailPhoto" mapping?

comment Update MySite Thumbnail Photo in SharePoint 2016
yes, I have all the correct permissions. I can manually upload a picture to a MySite just fine. Using Softerra's LDAP Browser I can see the Photo however I noticed that when the LDAP browser displays the page, the photo pops up real big before the LDAP program changes the height/width for display. So another question. If the photo being uploaded is large, will that affect SharePoint's ability to import it ?

comment Does or Will MS Allow changing the Masterpage in SP2016 on-Prem?
Thanks. I want to future proof my branding if I can. Its seems CSS and JavaScript are the way to go.

That was it. It didn't seem obvious to me that is what was needed. Thanks.

comment What to do with e-mailed SharePoint Links Hijacked and used for Ransomware
It's not a SharePoint issue. its more of a phishing scam that takes a user to a place to activate Ransomware. I could see this possibly more prevalent on an Extranet. I think this forum might not be the correct place to ask, only my CIO would like to find out if the SharePoint Community is handling this in some way.

comment What to do with e-mailed SharePoint Links Hijacked and used for Ransomware
The SharePoint Environment is fine. Sites are still available. I think what my CIO is concerned about is the hijacking of an e-mail with a SharePoint Link in it, which is changed and sent back where the employee clicks on the new link which sends them to, or activates Ransomware that encrypts their PC, Thumbdrives, Shared Drives, etc.
