comment Javascript object model says load succeeded, but object is empty?
Jup tried that, makes no difference. I also tried another site collection, weirdly it works like a charm on that one.

comment Javascript object model says load succeeded, but object is empty?
Ok, so I added the calling code and what happens with the promise. Routine itself changed a bit too, just to make it more clear. Note that the resolve of the promise is not hit because the error already happens on calling user.get_isSiteAdmin().

I cannot share the whole file, it's client source code. What exactly would you want to see? I don't completely see how this is relevant since the code is functioning, the platform isn't.

Sorry the error was taken from a different piece of code, as said it doesn't matter which property I try to read. The same code runs fine on a different environment so I would say we can pretty much rule out any real coding errors.

comment Check user existence on SharePoint
If the user exists but is not in the site collection yet, EnsureUser will add the user to the hidden userinfolist. Depending on your use case you might not want that, so keep it in mind. Use the profile service to check for existence otherwise.

comment SharePoint 2016 IT Preview on Azure - responsive?
Where did you get that from? The part of it being responsive? I can imagine the nextgen portals might be, but the normal UI probably won't be unless they did some major refactoring outside of Office 365, highly unlikely.

You were spot on, it's trim duplicates. Turned it off by editing the query with the query builder, going to Settings and turning off duplicate trimming. Now everything is properly shown. If you put your comment in an answer I'll mark it :)

Would find that strange. These are pages with different URLs, different titles and different content. But still, could be. Do you know how to switch that off?

comment How to find out if (and if possible how often) a term is used?
The taxonomyhiddenlist can also contain items which were previously used, but not in use any more. So be aware that this approach might get you false positives. Another approach might be to leverage the search engine, you can use the TaxCatchAll field to search for term usage.
