comment Uploading xml to document library won't start workflow
I thought this was working so I marked correct, but upon further examination I am still getting an Error Occurred for my workflow status. I believe its because when I create my SPFile file object, I am already adding the file to the document library, then later on you have the file.MoveTo line which is moving the file to the same location it is already at. Can you inform me on how you initialized your SPFile file object in this sample code? Thanks!

comment Uploading xml to document library won't start workflow
I get a SPException thrown with no error message. The inner message says: "<nativehr>0x8102009b</nativehr><nativestack></nativestack>". According to Google this means a workflow has already started on the item and/or terminated via error. This is strange because as far as I can tell no workflow has started on the item.

That unfortunately throws an SPException "To add an item to a document library, use SPFileCollection.Add()" Do you know of another way to upload a file to a document library?

comment InfoPath form has Multiple Selection List Box that checks all items instead of just one
Thank you that was very helpful. This solution works on my machine, but since I am developing this on a different server farm with different site collections, I don't know how to connect to the MSLB_Dynamically_Updateable_Items Sharepoint List. Is there a way to I can manually enter a site collection URL (not on the current Server Farm) or change the URL after the form has been published?

I'm uploading InfoPath forms. I guess maybe it could be a Web Application feature, I haven't tried yet.

comment FormsService UploadFormTemplate Method throws Access denied error
Did you have to manually copy over the dll associated with the template? Also, did you load SharePoint Management Shell with the process class and then use the uploadtemplate command?

comment Uploading an InfoPath form programmatically
That's what I thought but I am still getting a "Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\Template\Features\FT-01-6c9edb80-4be2-73f2-3ef4-bb647484b323\MyFor‌m.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. " Error when I try to open it

comment How to grab InfoPath form's FormState contents from the document library?
I inherited some forms that store a bunch of information in the FormState and I am trying to consolidate a bunch of that code in some document library event receivers. I was thinking of either storing that info in the xml of the form or, like you suggested, in a field and publish those fields.

comment What is the best way to determine if CurrentUser is System Account?
Yes except SPContext is null for me this in this case so I had to go with the SPWeb object from the event properties to grab the CurrenUser

comment (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020009 (DISP_E_EXCEPTION))
Close to nothing. It opens an xml file in a XDoc and passes it to the class library. The strange thing is, this doesn't happen on a different SharePoint environment that I have.

comment SPContext.Current is sometimes null in code behind of InfoPath
Are you talking about when I run the form in debug mode from InfoPath? I know its null there, I'm talking about running a published form from inside SharePoint. It seems only the Form_Load method has SPContext populated.

comment What are the dangers of disposing of SPWeb when it's automatically disposed of?
Thanks for the info! Do you think you could clarify that last sentence a little? :) Are you saying if I haven't created SPSite/SPWeb from SPContext/EventProperties then I shouldn't dispose? it? I thought those were the the only times I could safely not worry about disposing of it.

comment Adding a SharePoint list to an Update Panel
I clarified in my post that this is a Visual Web Part project that I am adding to the Header zone of a Web Part page. So this is an Update Panel, inside a Visual Web Part that is placed in a Web Part zone.

If so, can I add an Update Panel to the web part zone and add the list inside that panel?

comment Web Part zone index not working
Yes I went into the Layout section of Edit Web Part. The section was called "Full Page" and the zone index for the web part I installed was 3, sometimes 4, but in the code I have it set as 0.

comment How to access the property bag in Javascript?
You can create your own custom property bag for your site collection. I am trying to access that property bag. I got it figured out, see the question sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/37198/… for more details

comment Grab a specific property bag using ECMA script
You can create your own property bag, which is what I did in this case. When I call on it from allProperties, it returns xml that contains keys (element names) and values (element values). I can just parse the xml and get the value that way. I don't even know if you can return a specific property bag using the JavaScript COM, I haven't found any code or documentation how to do so yet.

comment Grab a specific property bag using ECMA script
I have multiple property bags, and when I call one of them from myPropBag.get_fieldValues()['propbagIwant'], it returns xml. Will I have to parse that xml to get the specific value that I want? Or is there a way to grab that specific property bag, then grab the specific value of that property bag?

comment Grab a specific property bag using ECMA script
Also I know which property bag I want to grab, I still don't know how to grab it. I have tried: var myPropBag = this.props; var myPropBag1 = myPropBag.get_fieldValues()['propertyBag']; alert(myPropBag1.get_fieldValues()['myPropBagKey']); With no luck.
