2007 to 2010 Migration Errors Very informative answer. I didn't have the Oct '09 cumulative updates to the preupgradecheck tool installed - do you think this would have helped - the only error I saw was because the 2007 version was on 32 bit server (to be expected)? Also, could you outline the differences between the STSADM preupgradecheck and Powershell sp-testcontentdatabase commands? |

SharePoint 2010 DB Migration - Web App URL Thanks for the clarification pigeon. After I take the old intranet offline (post-migration), is AAM the only alternative at that stage? |

SharePoint 2010 DB Migration - Web App URL I'm not an admin, so bear with me. Right now the 2010 VM is named "intranet2", the 2007 machine is "intranet". I have installed SP2010 with the Web app named "intranet2". What should I do at this stage? |

SharePoint 2010 DB Migration - Web App URL I cannot have two identical URLs on the network. I'm trying to migrate to a test VM farm and find it hard to believe they would have this requirement... |

Using TFS and SharePoint Designer VS skills? At the end of the day it's just a text editor. A Web Designer who is not conversant in HTML/CSS is not a Web Designer and I think the fact that Nick is experiencing this problem in the first place speaks volumes :) |

Pulling hair out: How to customize MOSS2007 site to be front facing I like Cathy's approach. Take a look at this article also (part 2 especially): msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee354191%28v=office.12%29.aspx |

Missing “Upload Multiple Documents” in SharePoint 2007 You're right, they were in the X86 folder. I copied them over. Either way, they're not showing up under all add-ons. Do I have to register them and how do I do that? |

Missing “Upload Multiple Documents” in SharePoint 2007 Your diagram mentions stsupld.dll and some googling mentioned owssupp.dll. Cna you shed any light on whether I need to install one of these in my Office folder? |

Missing “Upload Multiple Documents” in SharePoint 2007 I tried it Marc, and am still having the problem. Also ruled out 32 vs 64 OS issues. |
