What is the dependency of a Shared Service Provider on Search? There is a dependency for creation. You can't create an SSP without search. But why not? If you could turn it off safely, why make such a hard up-front dependency. I don't think it's as easy as only search will stop working, but that would be nice. |

How can I delete many Groups without code deployment? Thanks Mark. Could you share an example with more detail? I have jQuery and I think your library can be used without touching the server, but it would take me a while to work the jQuery syntax unless you help. |

How can I delete many Groups without code deployment? Thanks, Mike. I'm trying to avoid server access by RDP or stsadm commands, but this would be a light server approach if others don't work. |

SharePoint Document Library version restore not behaving as expected @Dylan Is your version 2 checked in? I'm not sure, but I would guess there is an alternate API method to retreive drafts if Wictor's code doesn't access them. |

How can you move a document with its version history to a new library? @Japp you found the answer. Move works, copy doesn't. Can you edit your answer so people don't have to read all the comments to figure it out? Bonus credit if you explin WHY this works. :) |

Is there a comprehensive list of all of the out of the box web parts that are connectable? Are you waiting for the bounty? I don't see the option to add one yet. |

How can you move a document with its version history to a new library? DVWP is a good suggestion. I think in this case, it was just a matter of consolidating the two folders because they both were created redundantly. |

How can you move a document with its version history to a new library? I just tried this and it didn't work for me. I wonder what was different? I enabled major versions for two libraries on my My Site, Personal Documents and Shared Documents. I uploaded a new version of one document in Shared Documents, copied it to Personal Documents with both in Explorer View. Only the most recent version copied over. |

Is there a comprehensive list of all of the out of the box web parts that are connectable? Hi John, those are both good articles, but don't you think there should be something better? I've wondered about this question from the very first time connections were demonstrated to me by a SharePoint MVP 4 years ago. Why doesn't someone explain it better? |

Disabled “Filtered Parameter” drop-down in custom web part with connections Isn't answering you own question a little like lobbing a basketball to yourself for a dunk? I'll admit, I asked one question hear, blogged the answer and then found someone had gotten answer credit for linking to my blog post. |
