comment My Deployed Site Column Lookup Isn't Referencing the List
Are you sure the url in the List attribute is spelled correctly? Also as @NkSP mentioned, include the ShowField attribute.

When you say "SharePoint form", is it your own custom aspx page or is it some OOTB SharePoint form?

comment Two SharePoint lists with different names, but same contents error
Start with the simple checks => Check the list definitions. Make sure they have different IDs in the Type attribute. Then check the list instances and make sure the IDs in their TemplateType attribute matches the ID from the list definition Type attribute they should use.

comment Two SharePoint lists with different names, but same contents error
I'm not sure I understand completely. So you have 2 list definitions, with 1 list instance each. And when you deploy them, both list instances somehow use the same list definition, leaving one list definition unused? - is this what happens?

comment Convert User field to UserMulti field
@EricAlexander That seems like a viable solution to the issue. It's a one-off thing, so I guess a powershell script to do it might be sufficient as well.

comment Get current view in Sharepoint Hosted app
@VipulKelkar To my understanding you should be able to get those property values through the QueryString as you would with HostUrl, AppWebUrl etc.

comment CAML query for the last document uploaded by a particular user
I would suggest considering using <FieldRef Name="Author" /><Value Type="Integer"><UserID /></Value> in case some users happen to have the same Display Name.

comment UpdateListItems throws “Cannot access a closed Stream.”
This error occurs when you have two using statements for a Stream class inside each other and the outer using statement is still trying to use the variable from the second using statement.

comment While Running provider hosted app solution from visual studio in Page_PreInit method getting ' System.TypeInitializationException' Exception
@user41938 That usually means something went wrong with the handshake between the site and the app. The solution depends on what type of authentication you use (windows, adfs, fba etc.)

Have you looked into BeforeProperties & AfterProperties? Current logged in user should be fetchable from the properties.Web.CurrentUser.

Incremental crawl should be sufficient, yes. Try a full crawl nonetheless just to be sure.

comment Search a keyword with a space in it using query rules SharePoint 2013
Do you have any user profiles where the phone number has a space in it? Search finds anything that contains whatever you type in. If anything contains "1234" it will find it. Same goes for if anything contains "1234 56789", if not, it doesn't find anything.

Pretty much. IISReset is the default thing to do because some processes might not have been properly updated during the deployment.

comment How to check if webpart exist on page?
That is the way to do it. Using LINQ will be equally performance "inefficient".
