comment Global.asax requires AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers on assembly with child class of SPHttpApplication
Good point with SP2013, I guess it is not such an evil to run SP in full trust mode. To avoid the multiple composition roots I have placed ninject into the inhereted class of the SPHttpApplication and I created a static Inject method which gets the application from SPCurrent. I should have access to global.asax when I deploy it so it wont be a problem. This is actually a quite supported solution as far as I read the blogs. I then inhereted the webparts and user controls and use the static method in their OnInit handler.

comment When is SPHttpApplication class created and destroyed/disposed?
I have seen the documentation. However, I dont understand it very well. "The first time a SharePoint Foundation page is requested" Does it count for a single user or for multiple users? (I guess the first one.) "stays until app pool is recycled" - when does that happen?

comment Connection among webparts getting lost when editting aspx
Thanks Josh. I might try it. There must be a way to do the connections programatically. Maybe I could write everything through SPD and the SP web administration and then run a small c# script which would initialize all the connections. With such a script I could easily modify the aspx anytime I wanted and then just re-run the script.

I was trying to solve a slightly different problem, so your answer is not really related. However, thank you for your time anyway.

Interesting and sad. I have even created the whole dashboard by myself, not using the dashboard designer. That was actually intentional since I needed to add multiple webpart zones and additional javascript. Is this a bug or are there any implementational complications which restrict MS to fix it?
