The problem isn't that I have a lot of master pages, it is that this feature will be deployed in other SharePoint instances of which I have no knowledge of. What is the downside to modifying the out-of-the-box master pages? 2. Yes, by script reference I mean a basic <script src="foo.js> Thanks for mentioning custom actions.
