comment How do I know that which server processes my custom workflow in SharePoint 2010?
Well, you don't need to do it exactly that way. The idea is to use the resources from layouts folder. Your workflow can for example display an image from _layouts folder on the page. Edit this image on each server (draw a number 1,2.. on the picture). Then run the workflow and see what number is presented. Or find out your way of using _layout folder.

I know it doesn't answer your question, but if you need to use IE and prefer Chrome, you can use add-in called "IE Tab". Url: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ie-tab/… You can also use it to login to SP using 2 different users.

comment Getting Error Restoring Site Collection
It does not need to be the same content database. If a site collection has been restored to another content database in the past, it cannot be restored there again (unless it overwrites the previous site collection). In the link that I provided there is a method of deleting the site collection and then removing it from deleted site collections. That's the only way for restore to succeed. I assume it's not the obvious: "The existing content databases may have reached the maximum number of site collections, or be set to read-only, or be offline".
